Temporary Diversion Of Bus Services 99, 193 And 242 Due To Construction Of Jurong Region Line

Three SBS Transit bus services – 99, 193 and 242 – will be affected by the temporary closure of a section of Jurong West Avenue 4 (between Jurong West Street 75 and Jurong West Street 72) to facilitate the construction of Jurong Region Line. This will be between 17 May and 15 October 2024, from 11.00pm to the end of bus operations when the affected bus services will be diverted to travel on alternative routes. As a result, they will skip bus stops along their regular routes along Jurong West Avenue 4 and Jurong West Street 72.  

Due to the road closure, the route of Service 242 will be temporarily amended with a change in the order of bus stops served. It will call at the bus stop outside West Grove Primary School (27331) only after serving four other bus stops - outside Blk 729 (27341), Blk 715 (27351), Blk 711 (27429) and Blk 717 (22359) - with no other bus stops affected.
